Duncan has been doing pretty good with his napping without being nursed to sleep. In fact, I’ve been putting him down and just sitting in a chair in the room while he naps. He’s been a little sick lately so it’s kind of put a little wrench in the works. He’s been whinier and constantly calling to me until he passes out. Before he got sick he was just turning over and going to sleep with minimal argument which was fantastic.

Night time is going good to and I’ve been surprised. I’ve even cut down the amount of time I let him nurse before bed time. It is heartbreaking though because when I tell him it’s time for bed he right away says to me “I wanna nurse”. However, I know it’s time to stop the nursing to sleep because well, I’m going to go crazy and some day I’d like to not have to be the one to lay him down at night and naps.

It was my own doing and now we gotta undo it gently!
