Australia has already had their “July 4th” but now I’m stuck looking at all the pictures of my family having fun and the food they’re eating. I’m not even going to try to lie, it makes me homesick and miss being there for these times. I know it’s only a few years that I’m missing, the Fourth of July isn’t a huge holiday, they aren’t even doing fireworks this year but I still miss sitting out front of the house and eating a bunch of food until we’re full, playing basketball, getting into that one argument that happens every year on any given holiday.

This just means when we get back home every single holiday that comes up we’re going to do it big. That’s it, that’s all there is to it.

So, Happy 4th of July! Enjoy it extra hard for me!
