16 short months have gone by since Duncan was born and here we are, enjoying parenthood to its fullest. It’s amazing how you can eat, sleep, breath another person like you can when you’re a parent.

This last month Duncan has really found a liking to going outside to play although he doesn’t stay out there very long until he’s heading to the front door to go back inside.

When he’s outside he really likes sifting through the gravel in the driveway, because you just never know the treasures that you will find there. That is the number one place that he will go when we go outside, that and the sidewalk to walk on it. He doesn’t so much like walking on the actual grass.

He has been coming up with new faces every other day it seems like and is adding a few more words to his vocabulary such as see and okay.

I can’t believe in just 2 months he is going to be a year and a half old. Halfway to two! Stop the time, I want to be on pause and enjoy him to the fullest as a blossoming toddler. His inquisitive ways, crazy personality, the way he growls and talks in tongue when he is really upset, the way he cuddles up real close to me while he’s nursing, the huge smile that everyone is greeted with when you say hi, the way he has to say hi to every single person that passes him.
